The core of my services are about empowering you to love {accept, adore, improve} self. I do believe a part of loving yourself is improving in areas were YOU seek improvement.
I was speaking with someone the other day about "WOKE" Atlantians. This person was sick of the "woke-ness" and declared 'THEY actually love America' -- unlike, in their mind, those perpetuating "woke" culture. While, I don't claim to be "woke", mostly because I don't like titles, I offered this person the idea that those who are "woke" love America too. They love America enough to demand change when they see a change is needed. This conversation was cut short so, I wasn't able to explore deeper, intersecting ideas including the fact that I hate naming this land America and how I believe land belongs to no one... another conversation for another day, I suppose. The bottom line is it's ok to love your "flaws" (I use that word VERY loosely) but when those "flaws" are hurting you or those you love are you willing to change and grow?
I want us all to be empowered enough to say...
